The Eastman Education Centre was designed in collaboration with threetenants: Red River College, Assiniboine Community College and HannoverSchool Division Student Services.

To recognize the needs of a dynamic community, this project was designed to include an interior street; a connective device that serves as a spine for the current and successive phases of the complex. The strong axial parti references German planning traditions and the German roots of the community.

The project includes state-of-the-art teaching facilities and a public meeting room that is open to all tenants and the broader community.

The building’s components are a testament to the pride and commitment of the local community, right down to the exterior finishes which were selected to maximize the use of the local materials, expertise, and labour.
