ACC Master Plan

Assiniboine Community College
2009

Recognizing the opportunity for enhanced facilities and a new and compatible use for the historic Brandon Mental Health Centre (BMHC), the Province of Manitoba decided to relocate the Assiniboine Community College to the abandoned BMHC site. The BMHC campus is an existing facility with a rich cultural heritage, situated in a pastoral setting. Through the ACC Campus Plan, we accounted for students and staff necessities in order to transform this former mental health campus into a vibrant post-secondary institution.

The project has been organized into three phases. The first phase, the Manitoba Institute for Culinary Arts was completed in 2007. The second phase, the Len Evan's Centre for Trades and Technology was completed in 2010. The third and final phase, the Parkland Building is to be determined.
