The proposed 30,000 sq. ft. addition to the historic Knowles-Douglas Student Union Building will occupy a prominent position at Brandon University, the geographic centre of the campus.
The facility will accommodate a new lounge, food service outlets, student group uses and a new generously scaled commons area that evolve over time to changing programs. Once completed, the Student Union Centre will strengthen the social heart of the campus and compliment its urban fabric, creating a dynamic environment for students to socialize and exchange knowledge.
